The frient Electricity Meter Interface 2, LED (Zigbee) is a wireless energy monitoring device that enables smart home users to track their total electricity consumption. Unlike the P1 version, this model uses an optical probe to read the pulses from the blinking LED light (imp/kWh) found on the front of most traditional and many modern electronic electricity meters. It converts these pulses into real-time consumption data, which is then communicated via Zigbee 3.0 to a compatible smart home hub. This device is battery-powered for easy installation on virtually any compatible meter, regardless of the brand or presence of a digital data port.
