The Ecosoft CROSS Solo is a tankless, ultra-compact direct-flow reverse osmosis (RO) system engineered for modern kitchens and space-limited installations. It delivers purified water on demand—no storage tank required—at a flow rate of approximately 1.3 L/min (or about 78 L/hour), which means it can fill a drinking glass in around 10 seconds. The design is tailored for residential drinking and cooking applications in 1- to 2-person households, or where minimal footprint and instant delivery are priorities.
This system combines elegance and efficiency: sleek form, intelligent controls, and compact dimensions (approximately 300 × 140 × 200 mm) allow easy placement under a sink or in tight cabinet spaces. Despite its small size, the CROSS Solo incorporates advanced features such as automatic membrane flushing, leak detection, and a quick twist-and-lock cartridge replacement mechanism to simplify maintenance.
Functionalities
-
Direct-flow purification: Water is treated on demand rather than stored, enabling fresh, continuously purified output without the bulk of a storage tank.
-
Dual-stage 2-in-1 cartridge: A combined 500 GPD RO membrane and coconut-based carbon postfilter remove up to 99% of contaminants—such as dissolved salts, heavy metals, chlorine, organics, bacteria, viruses, and PFAS—while also improving taste and odor.
-
Automatic membrane flush & self-cleansing modes: To reduce fouling and extend membrane life, the system triggers flush cycles under several conditions (e.g. when power is connected, after a period of usage, or after inactivity).
-
Auto shut-off protection: After approximately 120 minutes of continuous operation, the system shuts off to conserve resources and prevent potential misuse.
-
Leak detection & safety shut-off: A built-in leak sensor detects internal water escape and shuts off feed water to prevent flooding.
-
Quick, tool-free cartridge replacement: The twist-lock replacement design allows you to swap the 2-in-1 filter in about 5 minutes without shutting off the main water supply—water flow is halted automatically while the cartridge is removed.
-
Smart status indicators: Visual indicators alert the user to filter lifespan and status, ensuring timely maintenance.
-
50% recovery (regeneration) ratio: The system is optimized to use water efficiently, with a roughly 1:1 ratio of purified water to wastewater.
